Abstract

Homer in his poem "The Iliad" is the first in many ways, but until now there has been an opinion that Homer has little mastery of the art of creating a literary portrait of his characters; In the present work, we will try to show the wrongness of this opinion and prove, on the example of one of the outstanding characters, Agamemnon, that Homer, along with many other talents, is a master of literary portrait.
