Abstract

The famous French traveler Eugene Melchior de Vogue traveled to Georgia in 1875-1882 and published interesting information in the United States’ Press. The work of the Count has not yet been properly studied and translated into Georgian. The writer provides interesting information about Georgia at that time. It allows us to re-analyze the history, culture, ethnography, way of life, dress, etc. of that time. The translation is attached to the article, which refers to Kutaisi.
