The study examines phraseology as a linguocultural phenomenon, with particular emphasis on the gender aspect. It investigates gender-marked phraseological units in English and Georgian, which reflect cultural values, social norms, and gender stereotypes. Comparative, conceptual, and discourse analyses are applied, based on authentic examples and idiomatic dictionaries. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the linguocultural analysis of gender-marked phraseological units in English and their contrastive-comparative study with the underexplored Georgian language. The results reveal the multidimensional structure of gender concepts, as well as their universal and culturally specific characteristics.
